Yeah, it's several hundred years earlier.  Either way I'll probably see it cause it's got vampires and werewolves and my wife loves anything w/vampires.  Plus I love medieval fighting.

did Beckinsale refuse to do anymore of these movies or something? Or is it that her character isnt present? (I haven't watched the trailer.)

But I'd have hoped they'd pick up where the second left off. Afterall, both sides hate them now, and its not like they killed all of each side.

Edit: Besides, didnt we already find out the reason for the fued? The Lycan and the Vampire fell for each other, and they killed her and left the lycan alive but he escaped?

Edit2: So this movie is telling that story then. Well, explains why Beckinsale isnt in it. Her character didn't come in until after this happened I thought.

While Rhona Mitra is nice, it isnt gonna save this movie. But heres to hoping I'm suprised and its awesome.

These movies stink anyways, but Rhona Mitra is one of the few out there actually hotter than Beckinsale, so this isnt so much a downgrade OR an upgrade, but rather maintaining the status quo.
