Whiskey is tasty and awesome. This is known fact.

I must say, though, that Crown Royal is smooth as shit in comparison to Jack Daniels. I could probably chug that shit straight from a bottle, though I can't imagine I'd actually try something so stunning.

This being said, what's the cream of the crop of whiskeys? And how much do they run for a bottle?

I used to drink a ton of Crown Royale, especially when I was smoking cigars on a weekly basis. I gave that all up, though.

Also since this thread is about drinks does anyone drink Tequlia straight up? I love the whole licking the salt off the girls neck and then biting the lime, I tried it straight up and it felt like someone punched my stomach...nasty shit.

Mmmm whiskey. I pretty much only drink whiskey these days, because I always know how drunk I am with it. All of my trendster friends drink the Jameson's due to their trendster groupthink powers, but I stick with my old buddy Maker's Mark, and chase it with a shitty beer. People know you're a serious drinker when they see you with two drinks.

I thinks it's a bit of a waste when you age whiskey for so many years etc and then try to mask it characteristics with coke. Unless it's cheap awful whiskey.

Well Red Label is for mixed drinks really. The thing is that I know people that mix Chivas or JWB or Jameson with coke. Not even ginger ale.

Somehow my friend's sister thinks "get us bourbon" means to get us the cheapest bourbon possible, and we end up with Heaven Hill. 'Course, I'm 21 now, so I don't have to deal with that any longer.

I just want someone to be awesome and get me a nice bottle of whiskey for christmas or something. That would fucking ROCK MY SOCKS OFF.

I don't think I've ever gotten it in a plastic bottle, but wouldn't be surprised if the larger bottles were plastic.

I imagine they carry it in most decently sized liquor stores.This is the one I usually get. they make a scotch whiskey too, which tries to look like a bottle of JD.
