I'm moving away from last year's lineup of indie horror flicks and thrillers to something more fun this year.

I'm not sure what the roster should be, but I want stuff that you can drink beer and laugh to - like Fright Night and House.

Resident Evil: Apocalypse is the right kind of ridiculously bad horror film. Its got some decent one liners and an ethos that sacrifices anything that could be considered logical at the expense of being cool.

I'm not looking for BAD horror films either. I'm looking for cheesy, fun horror films in the vein of stuff like Fright Night and American Werewolf in London.

Shit, 5/4 of that movie had NOTHING GOING ON. The only redeeming quality was the hecklers in the audience. They made me chuckle.

my argento preferences are for the gaillo films, which aren't horror, but rather mystery/thrillers. I like Tenebrea the most of those, but Phenomena is good as well.

I just realized I've never seen Event horizon. I always thought it was this, http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0115857/ , and I couldn't figure out why anyone would suggest it for a Halloween title.
