The touchpad is pretty useless IMO. You really can't tell when you are allowed to use it until you are halfway through the solo. I probably need to get used to it.

From some of the videos I've seen, the notecharts vary from Good, to Awful, to Wtf?

Like in Lazy Eye, GH doesn't chart the very audible guitar solo
And in Ramblin' Man, GH completely ignores nearly half the notes.

I don't know where you're getting your information from, but the new Strat is fantastic. Pretty much everyone that has used it agrees that it's great.

Strat v2 felt pretty good the 5 or so minutes I played it yesterday. Feels like what the original Strat should have been. I might pick it up in the future.

Believe it or not Archie but I think both of our favorite albums, Doolittle, is what really propelled me to learn the art of the bass. I love Doolittle and my first goal was to be able to cover the whole album!

The Squier Bronco Bass. I love it. It's a shortscale though, so if you're looking into a bass i'd defintly reccomend a regular scale one.

I preferred the Les Paul to the original Strat, but I prefer the second Strat to both. It's my favourite toy guitar. They fixed everything that was wrong with the original and the new calibration tool is just gravy. I haven't tried the Generi-caster, but I'd definitely recommend picking up the Strat 2 if you need a new guitar.

I'll probably pick it up if it's ever cheap. I liked the old Les Paul more than the Strat, but I wasn't the biggest fan of either. I really just want one final plastic guitar so I don't need to buy them anymore. I'm happy with the old Rock Band drum set even if sometimes the drum pads don't register if I tap lightly, so no need to swap that.

I like how instead of tightening the windows people had complaints with, they made them looser. I'm watching youtube videos and the notes are pretty much past the bar when they get hit. This will make doing annoying hammer on triplets easier, which I can appreciate. I like how the achievements are much better than 3s, but they are still gay nickle and diming ones.
