Also for the parts with the purple "band" where you can use the touch strip, you can just tap the notes instead.

Because

a) the solo buttons are shit

and

b) the guitar hero frets are more comfortable to work with

You can't save a failed band member?  The song just ends instantly?  Oh, that's gonna be real fun.

Or a buzz kill.

This game is gonna kill RB2 in sales.

At BB earlier and in the span of five min three 360 versions were sold.  All 190 dollar bundles too.  PS3 version sat alone abandoned.

God this guitar owns.  I was able to pass Devil's Island in RB2 on a sightread.  Red Octane and Harmonix need to get back together.

You don't even understand how bad I feel that I bought this band kit of this.  It's like when you buy a stock and it goes from 500 -> 5 the next day.

I'm counseling myself by saying it's only money.  But $200 is A LOT OF MONEY on an absolutely shit game.  I should have spent that on RB2 instrument upgrades from my RB1 set and continued to play RB2.

Seriously, worst purchase of the last few years for me.  I wonder how much I can get at gamestop or ebay?  The shipping would be a BITCH on ebay since it's like 100 pounds or something.  If gamestop would give me like $150 I might just eat the $50 loss.

The game itself sucks.  The guitar is ok but I went back to the RB one since I'm used to it after a year+ of jamming on it (GH one is too small for me now).  The drums are defective products.  Didn't even try the vocals but I hear they suck too.  I hate this game.

Archie, does your strum bar sometimes make squeaking sound when you down-strum? It's annoying as hell. It's a really good guitar otherwise.

The game is fucking awful, though. Playing this after RB2 is like going a generation back. Luckily, I'm selling the game to a friend at school for $40 next week.  :elephant

I returned my broken band set to Best Buy today and got a new one because they only exchange opened products.
I then tried to sell the sealed box to gamestop but they said they don't buy those things ;_;

It's on craigslist now for $170, will see if there's any bites.  If not I'll try $160, $150 and then just give up and play the game until I finish guitar/bass/drums and then put it in a closet forever and figure it was a lesson learned to never doubt RB and give Neversoft a shot.

...I should have learned that lesson after Neversoft killed Tony Hawk :(

My last one didn't, no.  The guitar was fine.  The drums were totally fucked and dropping hits all the time though.

We took a break from our Rock Band 2 marathon session and tried out some GHWT 4-player action. Everyone complained about how ugly the game was,  one of my friends was like "so this is the Fisher Price version of Rock Band, right?" Played through Beat It and then quickly went back to Rock Band 2.

No capture software.  It's easy, over in 2 minutes and will probably be taken down by the GH police in a few days.

The game is a massive disappointment on vocals. I can't belive they could copy another game and yet still miss out all the best bits.

The set list was obviously chosen by a guitarist as well.

And the music studio produces lift musak

At least it's only a couple of weeks till RB2 in the UK on 360.
