How old do they have to be? I kinda adore The Prisoner. And the Twilight Zone. And All in the Family, but I think "classic" should only be used for pre-1970 shit.

Golden Girls. I used to watch it every Saturday. I'd get up real early to watch the morning cartoons, which meant I'd wind up watching an hour worth of tv shows before the cartoons started. That hour consisted of Golden Girls and Star Trek Next Generations

MASH and Cheers are the oldest shows I've bought on DVD. Both hold up pretty well - good scripts, good acting.

Off the top of my head, All in the Family, WKRP in Cincinatti, and Welcome Back Kotter, although I haven't seen the latter two in years. I hope they've held up.

My grandpa watched Mash every damn day. Every time I was over there I'd hear the Mash theme around 11 pm and that was always around when he'd be sleep. Man, I miss staying at my grandmothers place and hearing Mash at 11 pm. RIP

Seriously, such a simple premise transformed into an amazing comedy that was rarely off quality, even towards the end of the series.
