I think you have to be word distinguished mentally-challenged to work as a hair stylist.  When someone says "trim a little" that obviously does not mean trim A SHITLOAD. A little! "Shorten it up a bit" turns into "WHERE DID MY HAIR GO!"

GRARRRRrrrrrrrrrrwgghhh

I've come to hate so many hair stylists over the years.  A few get it, but I don't want to have to make dates with my hairstylist so I can not look like a distinguished mentally-challenged fellow.  And that is what happens when my hair is cut too short.  I go from normal to looking like a cancer patient.  I hate that I have to babysit the person cutting my hair so this does not happen.  Today I got distracted because they had a TV on and the next thing I know all the body to my hair is gone.

Seriously, how can I have so much hair, say "trim a little" and end up looking like I'm ready for the army?

It all depends on where you go and finding someone who does the right job for you.  I found some lady who does an awesome job in some french sounding place in the mall for 18 bucks.  I go every 3 weeks, but before that I had some pretty shit haircuts/hairstylist.

Well I had been going to this nearby place which had been doing a satisfactory job.  Today i went there and some different people were there and it did not turn out well.

So why didn't you make an appointment with your "usual" hair stylist as it were?

I don't really remember the names of the people who do my hair and I don't routinely get it cut.  I just notice at some point that my hair is too long and walk in.

Yea, basically what I do. I haven't had really any major problems though. I really don't give a shit.

One time my mom took me to Fantasic Sams, but we had to leave because no one there knew how to cut "black hair"
