The treasures you're finding are used to earn extras.  Some are kinda lame like behind the scenes movies but others are more useful like slow motion or weapon unlocks.  I particularly like the slow/super slow motion ones.

I wish I could use my 360 controller on my ps3.

Amen.  It's the biggest reason why I choose the 360 version of certain games (aka shooters) over the PS3....well that and the fact that they tend to perform better on the 360.

I agree.  The reason why I liked it more than Gears in the first place was that the enemies weren't so well armored that you needed to fill them with lead to take them down, but at one point the game switched and you were fighting super strong enemies that couldn't be put down with a few shots.

And I don't have a problem with the DS3 when it comes to shooters.  I think the analog sticks are much better than they were on the DS2.  I still wish that I could use my 360 controller on my PS3, and my PS3 controller on my 360.

Some of them do.  Uncharted actually has some cool unlockables like mirror mode, speed up/slow down gameplay, and other things like that.

NG:S doesn't have transferrable game saves. They're locked.

I have the Jap version of NG:S.  I know for sure that I transferred someone else's NGS saves to my PS3 but I haven't checked them out.  You might be right that they're locked.

The MGS4 and Heavenly Sword saves worked flawlessly though.

That's exactly what I hate about Uncharted: too much sniping for headshots with a freaking handgun.  A quick burst of bullets to the torso of someone who's just wearing normal clothes should be more than enough.  There's just an incongruous balance of realism when a head shot would be fatalistic while multiple body shots to an unarmored person would barely do anything.

One thing I do give MGS4 credit for is that I would have rather played as Raiden a lot of the time. It was almost like Kojima was saying "oh, so you guys DON'T want to play as Raiden, eh?  You think he's a pansy? No one really gets MGS on this forum, I fear. That's okay, I don't get a lot of the games people say are good on this forum either.

I get MGS.  Which is why I get Act 1 and 2, and the first part of 3, but not the last half of 3, or all of 4, or 5.   The game has really separated those who love the story and those who the gameplay.

I've done no kills on MGS3 along with no alerts, on MGS2 I tried to get as many dogtags as I could get and completed most difficulty modes, i even bothered trying to get all dogtags in MGS:TTS which is an abomination...only because my friend had his name on one.

MGS is one of my favorite high budget series so what is this about not getting MGS?
