A week+ ago I abandoned Rock Band 2
I instead got Guitar Hero's instruments setup, tested, realized they were broken POS, realized the software side of the game sucks, exchanged, tried to sell new exchanged box, found out everyone knows the PS3 GHWT is a POS and no one will buy not even the Gamestop jerks and they buy EVERYTHING, opened box two, tested, realized it was broken POS, realized the game still sucks horribly, decided to give away game to friends permanently, got game+instruments completely out of my sight, stuck in Rock Band 2 again...

...and oh my god coming from a week+ of GHWT everything in Rock Band 2 seems so incredible.  The guitar, the drums, the vocals, the clean notes coming down, the awesome sorting, the great song selection.  RB2 instantly fixed my night of dealing with GH retardedness and I feel like a new man or at least the one I used to be before being violated by Neversoft.

Life seems so good right now and I'm not even drinking.  Rock Band 2 can heal the universe.

I just tried to play GH Aerosmith thinking I could get Score Hero achievement (fat chance), and I am just abysmal at GH... I just dont like Neversoft's charting, they play for spaghetti fingers.

I really need to find a booster for the co-op achievements so I can dump it and the guitar and get me a nice World Tour guitar.

If I'm just looking to play more or less on my own with the guitar, is Rock Band still worth it?  I don't have a child to sell to afford the whole kit imported, and even if I did, no one in Japan will want to play with my white devil sorcery.

Drums are defective.  Guitar is fine though.

Quite a number of guitars have a squeaky strum bar, though (as does mine). It still works, but it's annoying as hell. I currently prefer playing with the 2nd Stratocaster.

I went online to check it out and found that the album is totally free from the band's site.

Shortages in the supply of Guitar Hero World Tour's full band kit for all platforms is driving resale demand to above the USD 300 mark.

Analysts at Cowen and Company downplayed concerns over the latest instalment of the Guitar Hero's sales, labelling them "overblown", and putting down the underperforming results to a limited supply - something the soon to be released PlayStation 2 SKU should go part way to solving.

However, the analyst group did say that the poor supply was being exploited by resellers selling the full kit at a cost many times higher than the retail price.

"In order to assess continued demand for the title, we conducted proprietary channel checks both at major online retailers and at bricks-and-mortar retail locations across the country," the company explained, adding: "resellers on Amazon.com are pricing the band kit at close to USD 300, well above the USD 189 list price."

At the time of writing, used versions of both the Wii and Xbox 360 versions of the game were being sold on Amazon.com for USD 350, while the PlayStation 3 version was going for as high as USD 325.
