Currently, I'm attending my first class in five weeks (it starts in eight minutes). Yes, five weeks.

I doubt a professor would even recognize a long absent student in a lecture hall type setting. If the class has 20 people in it they'll probably realize you're a lazy bastard. There are 100 people in my econ class, there's no way the prof knows I skip

That's an awesome idea. Though Malek won't did the religion thing.

Just always wear a scarf and when some one asks about you not speaking just tap your throat.

The scarf will also cover up your neckbeard so it's win win.
