Honestly, LBP seems exactly like something that would be pretty popular with a select group of people in Japan (just check out various Japanese forums or Nico Nico Douga), but I doubt the majority would ever jump on board. It LOOKS like a mainstream game, but really is anything but.

That is actually good news. I could understand why other Wii games have succeeded, but Wii Music seems like one big joke Nintendo is playing on everyone.

It's great news because it means people have rejected Nintendo's concept of a "music" game and my Simon says gameplay with plastic toy instruments and brightly colored buttons lives on.
