I rented a car today and bought $230 worth of groceries (I eat about five meals a day). Because I eat so much and because it's currently snowing, I bought an elliptical trainer. I also bought three bottles of vodka--iceberg, wyborowa, and grey goose--printer cartridges, paper, light bulbs, a shirt, Dead space, and Office Space!

That's the vodka with the blade of wheat or whatever in it? For a while it was super cheap in Japan (no import tax on hard liquor here), despite it being awesomely tasty.

Grey Goose? Yeah, but it's at least twice as expensive as the other brands of vodka, at least in Canada.

edit1: unfortunately Manitoba has similar paternalistic alcoholic laws as Ontario, meaning I have to purchase booze from a government retailer--I can't simply go to the corner store or supermarket.

edit2: the car I rented had XM radio, which is awesome. However, I can't figure out why they have an AC/DC channel. I mean come on, a whole station?

I was thinking of this so clearly I have my head up my ass. If you do see any Zubrowka going cheap though, snap that shit up. Try freezing it. It's the tastiest vodka I've ever had, and the only one I'll drink straight.

$50 for prescriptions
$20 for St. Louis Bread Co (Panera)
$15 for misc. Get-Well-Soon crap (fluids, cough drops, cough medicine, etc)

And I still feel icky...  :'(

What's wrong? I have a sinus infection myself these past few days

  She said I don't have a sinus infection, but everything smells weird and food tastes awful. I have no voice, a fever, and uber-congestion, and I'm really dizzy from all the congestion ickiness. I have major allergies though, so I can never tell wtf is going on.

I'm in the process of switching doctors, so my new doctor was booked, my husband's was double booked & my allergist was booked. I finally said fuck it & went to the Take Care Clinic inside Walgreens. I basically told the lady, "This happens to me all the time. If it's not a sinus infection, then I just need my Allegra-D refilled." Done, out the door in 1/2 hour.

I was sick for a month and went through 3 prescriptions of antibiotics. Seriously thought I was dying. So go go go to the doctor ASAP if you haven't!

I was sick for a month and went through 3 prescriptions of antibiotics. Seriously thought I was dying. So go go go to the doctor ASAP if you haven't! 

Yup... went Wed night to the doctor... got prescribed a really strong antibiotic, which seems to be taking the bite off a lot, but it's making me real drowsy with a bit of nausea. I've had sinus infections before and they suck.

That's good! If I eat right before I take an antibiotic, I feel 1000x better and there's no nausea. Otherwise, I feel worse than before.
