Yeah, ADV was financing it. We got some early concept art 2-3 years ago, but nothing since. I'm sure it's long dead.

It would be really interesting to hear the story of it's failed development, though.

Piracy played a part in it, but ADV massively overextended themselves in the mid 00's. Funimation and Bandai have snapped up a lot of their properties (Full Metal Panic, Sgt. Frog, Gurren Lagann).
