Mirror's Edge is about the running and racing, figuring out the puzzles to get through levels really quick, and doing it all while maintaining a rhythm and not stuffing up. Figuring out how to get the top star ratings on the speed runs will take way longer than just running through each level once in story mode.

If you just want to run through each level once you're missing the majority of the game. It's like buying racing game chock full of shortcuts and racing on each track once. If that's all you want to do I definitely wouldn't get it.

I voted Fallout 3. For me Fallout 3, LBP, and MGS4 are interchangeable for my favorite this year.

I am disturbed by the lack of Etrian Odyseey 2 on this list.

That said, I've only played EO2 and Persona 4 this year. I'll be firing up Fallout 3 on Crimmus day, so that will probably win out in the end if what everyone has been saying is true.

I voted Saints 2. In terms of actually how fucking good is the game Saints 2 crushes the opposition. My game clock is around 45 hours, so probably the most time Ive spent with a single game this year also
