I saw Synecdoche, NY last weekend. I'm not sure if it's a good movie, but it's interesting. Definitely one of those films that you know you'd pick up more on a second viewing. Kaufman went dark with this one, at least with Sunshine and Malkovich there was some sense of wonder and hope...

Slum Dog Millionaire sounds fucking awesome. I'd go see that in a heartbeat if it was showing in Japan

It's by Danny Boyle, set in Mumbai and is about a slum kid who ends up on the Indian version of Who wants to be a Millionaire?
