Evilbore Real Talk -- Bad relationship choices
« on: November 27, 2006, 09:16:19 PM »
I'm going to go ahead and assume against my better judgement that some of the members here have had to choose between girls, or men.  Did you make the right choice?  If not, why?  How and why did the relationship crumble and were you kicking yourself for not choosing "the other?"  Here's me at my most stupid:

Girl #1

VS

Girl #2

I went with Girl #1, even though I was basically in love with Girl #2 throughout my time in HS and she had liked me too.  We were even neighbors!  Needless to say, Girl #1 and I flamed out spectacularly, cheating on each other multiple times, fighting, crying, then getting back together.  Then repeat.  For about two years!  Yikes...  Shouldn't have strayed too far from home and just stuck with Girl #2.  Now she makes fun of me for punting when I had the chance.   :'( :'( :'( :'(

Anyone else?

Girl #2>>>>>>>>>>Girl #1

Blondes suck. Many seem to think they're better than other girls because of their hair color, and they know guys love blondes. They use it as an excuse to act like complete idiots and get their way.

Holy shit Lonestar what a nice choice to choose between.

Actually I have a similar situation freshman year of college when I met my now ex girlfriend.  My roommate basically sold me on Jesus, and all this shit about being holy and what have you.  I actually from going to so many things with him met a really really sweet girl who was not hot, but at the same time she wasn't rancid.

We had like the best talks about life, and interesting topics, she was pretty much just a good girl in essence.  However, I was infatuated with this girl Amanda, and basically she is what led me off course of my beliefs and what have you as we started to mess around.

I kinna lied about the whole thing to the other girl about not drinking or what have you, then she saw some pics on my facebook and  , she was just so disappointed.

but guess what *gasp* My relationship with Amanda was one of the worst ever when I came back to school, I just feel like I picked the wrong thing lust over a deep personality ;p

There was a reason why you didn't pick #2. You would have met another #1 type of girl and grown bored of her (#2) and cheated on her and broke her heart.

It was probably for the better.

It's important to have a few #1's in your life, it will make you appreciate the #2's when they come along.

when I was in High School, I started dating my now ex wife.  At school, I met this really great girl.  We got along perfectly, hung out all the time and we just clicked.  I mean, she showed she was willing to work for me too.  she brought me breakfast EVERY morning.  She got along with all my friends, was beautiful and intelligent.  She also loved coke, like I did.  :heart

Fastforward a year and 3 months later.  We get drunk one night and she spill her heart out to me.  Tells me that she loves me and wants me to go to Chicago with her after we graduate.  God, I wanted to say yes so bad, but I was such a hopeless romantic.  I told her that I was sorry and that I loved my g/f.  In reality, I'd been hoping she felt the same way about me as I did about her.  But I pussified and backed away.  She stopped calling me after that like she used to.  Just every once in a while to see how I was.  Our friendship fell apart.  My g/f got pregnant, I got married and became miserable.

She moved to Chicago, met someone she cares for and is getting married this Spring.  We still talk via email every once in a while, but pretty much just to stay cordial.

I regret that decision so much.  Both of us have been extremely successful for our ages and we both have similar goals.  It's painfull obvious that it could have worked.  But I had to be faithful and stick with "love".

The only good thing that came out of this decision is my daughter.  I thank God every day for my daughter, but I still wish things could have been so much different.

I hate you guys.

No, that's not a relationship, that's bumping uglies with a fat girl after 13 shots of vodka. It's almost like a right of passage.

I don't know what I find most disgusting about this.  The fact that you are ALL FOR LOLI LOVE or the fact that you thought the pictured girl was a child.

I use to think a girl with dark purple hair would be omega-hot, but everytime I see a girl try to do it she fails and ends up looking like punk #355090001.

Nah he really was a good guy very misguided, I still consider him one of my best friends

Although when he fell off the religious thing he went off HARD, he does coke and everything :o

Here is what we "belonged" to:

It was pretty cool looking back, but at the same time I missed a lot of stuff freshman year I had fun, but I'd always get a lecture about how jesus this and god that.

#2 most definitely, but do these bitches have personalities or are they just straight robots and you're impressing everyone with their pics or something? i mean i'm currently masturbating to chick #2.

They're both very outgoing and fun, although #1 is more inclined to get into trouble and cause havoc among boys.  #2, man, we would talk for hours on end day after day and we generally enjoyed each others company because we could loosen up and be ourselves.   But I take ToxicAdam's point, and I have no doubt that he is right.  As soon as I saw and subsequently met #1, I knew I had to have her and being in a relationship wouldn't have curbed my desires for her.
