I am getting:

-Otomedius G (360) FINALLY!  This game has been delayed for too long.
-Left 4 Dead (360) Looking forward to it!
-Motorstorm 2 Pacific Rift (PS3) Looking good, had some fun with the original and everyone says this is better, so imma get!

Might get:

-Gundam Vs. Gundam (PSP) Will be playing it, the question is will I BUY it.  LOLZ
-Prinny: Ore ga Shujinkou de Iinsuka? (PSP) But I think I will wait to hear about this one or for the English version...

Want to get:

-Tomb Raider Underworld (360) Thing is, I don't know if I want to use my credit card right before moving to another country.  Probably will have to wait.
-MK Vs. DC (Dunno) Maybe.  It's Mortal Krap, but the engine seems to be more decent than all the previous 3D games, although people seem to already be finding exploits and infinites that work online.  Yuck.  I say maybe on the platform because NCS will be stocking the less-censored European version of the PS3 version, but I have read the game is region-locked on PS3 for online play.

Hoping For:

-Super Street Fighter II Turbo HD Remix TO FINALLY GET RELEASED ALREADY, but I bet it won't be until next week.

Big week wallet is gonna be dead by the end of it. I might wait on the DS games as I feel they will drop pretty quick to 20. But the first three I wont wait.

-Tomb Raider Underworld (360)
-Left 4 Dead (360, PC)
-The Last Remnant (360)
-Animal Crossing City Folk (Wii) (Already picked up)
-Luminous Arc 2 (DS)
-Metal Slug 7 (DS)
-Rune Factory 2 (DS0

Once this is over with theres only a few more games in 08 worth picking up.

Prince of Persia, Chain of Memories, Mushroom Men, and thats about it.

Once those come out its gonna be nice to sit back and play all of these damn games I've bought in the past 4 weeks.

-Gundam vs. Gundam (PSP)
-Tecmo Bowl Kick-Off (DS)
-Left 4 Dead (PC)
...
-Castlevania Judgment (Wii)

I still haven't made up my mind to get Judgment or not.  I like my shallow anime fighters, Castlevania, and Death Note.  Plus the developer is also a good one.

At least it's a slow weak and none of the games feature long single player campaigns, even so Left 4 Dead will drain all my time.

Once this is over with theres only a few more games in 08 worth picking up.

Prince of Persia, Chain of Memories, Mushroom Men, and thats about it.

No Persona 4?

I never got MS7 and I'm glad I waited now; it looks ugly and squished on the DS screen and the XBLA port will fix that issue!

Castlevania Judgment doesn't hit Japan until January.  I am wondering if that means more content is going to be added or anything tweaked.  But regardless the verdict will certainly be out on the game by then.  I am interested in it now that I know you CAN play it with a classic controller, no dumb waggle needed.

Any chance of Otomedius coming to the US?

Already ordered Left 4 Dead on 360 for $49 shipped at Amazon.  I'm still wavering on if Tomb Raider Underworld is a buy or a rent.  It'll be absolutely amazing, just like Legend, but is a 10 hour (whatever it is) single-player game worth the 60 bucks?  I heard of some DLC episodes they were making so that might influence me to buy it.

Yeah I'm not getting Left 4 Dead either, MAF.

Definitely getting the new Neverwinter Nights 2 expansion this week. Obsidian certainly didn't disappoint with Mask of the Betrayer, and I'm glad they are continuing to release products on the NWN2 engine. It's good stuff.

The left for dead demo was pretty  :-\ felt like a really well done mod.

I got that feeling from it too, though to be fair I was sort of predisposed to not liking it (internet co-op vs. the AI play doesn't do much for me in shooters. I prefer competitive play).

The original game was good.
The first expansion was excellent.

NWN2 was never bad game, it just didn't run at 6 BILLION FPS on somoene's 900Mhz AMD t-bird and Geforce 4 so there was lot of crying on the internet.

there's a gold edition out with the game + mask of the betrayer, good buy.

If I was making a high-end PC game I'd put in a crazy huge advanced graphical config panel in the "power user" setting and have sliders and buttons for all the tweaks and settings, and they wouldn't do a damn thing except keep those people hunting and pecking for pixel changes that aren't there.

Yeah, I'm with you on that.  But I'm holding off on j-games this fall to pick up next time I'm in Japan for less $$.

GvG definitely has the best cover this year for any game.  I look at that and want it ASAP.

I ordered GvG from NCSX a few weeks ago, so hopefully they ship it fast.  I'm a bit worried that they might combine it with the TvC order placed at the same time, I asked they said they wouldn't, but I remember having to wait a while for Bangai-O because my Umihara Kawase copy wasn't in.

Nope.  Going to pick it up in Japan over xmas for bomba pricing.

I'm tempted to get it day 1 after the famitsu 38/40, but I can't stand dubs and importing the JPN version would be like $90, so I'll wait and get it for $40 in a month.

I "picked up" GvG to try it out and it's pretty awesome.  It seems better than all the other Gundam Vs. games due to A) Super awesome huge cast from every Gundam and B) Vocal theme songs from all the shows.  The assists are pretty cool, and the supers are lololol and seem pointless because you have enough time to move out of the way of a falling colony or giant fireball.  But they do add a little strategy since both teams are trying to flee the area and you can use that to thwart the other guys while they run.  Only negative is since there's no story mode it'll get old quick if you don't have people to play against.

I just played as Exia and he was pretty good although I couldn't figure out any moves besides sword combos, a ground stomp, and his sword pistol.

Does the PS3 ad-hoc party support this?  I can imagine 4p online would be fairly awesome.

Even Square Enix dubs? They're usually the best out there.

My problem with dubs is that they are uneven.  While some dubs are pretty good and the main cast do a great job, everytime an NPC talks in some generic anime dub voice it takes me out of enjoying the story.  I just stick to Japanese games in Japanese, English games in English, and any other country in their home language.  Same thing I do with movies.

I think it does; wasn't that one of the big selling points behind the game?  I liked enough of what I "tried" (fuck it, downloaded...this ain't GAF Bebpo!) that I actually went and bought it today.  If anything it gives me an extra copy to do versus mode with a friend.  It runs quite well at 333mhz; ultra-smooth.  Haven't tried it on normal settings yet.  I imagine because of the 4p ad-hoc this could get a Monster Hunter-like following going.  The game is already mega-popular in arcades as it is.

Tomb Raider Underworld, Mirror's Edge (although I may wait until this is cheaper), Tatsunoko Vs. Capcom, Musou Orochi Maou Sairin PSP, and maybe maybe maybe maybe MAYBE MK Vs. DC and that's the end of the massive end-of-the-year spree for me.  Oh and POP probably too.  Since I will be moving back to the States in a little over a week, I figure I can try to ask all my relatives to get me the American releases as presents for the holidays.  Kinda doubt it will happen but hey.

omg Gundam vs Gundam is so good! my only issue is that Freedom is too damn good because he has a move that cancels any current action to dash away.

This is also the first PSP game I've played that lets you install data so load times are shorter (it really helps)

Gundam vs. Gundam is brilliant.

MAF, you really need to get over your stance on imports and get yourself a copy of this game!! I was playing as Exia taking on a bunch of Gouf Customs with the 08th MS Team theme song playing in the background.
