there were ads running all Sunday night on FOX for it, that is where we saw it and I picked it up the next day at a Wal-Mart.

I really dont understand Singstar. If you go hard and actually sing the song properly you get shitty scores.

weird I fount it to be the opposite.  In KR I fount myself having to sing in a high pitched girly voice to get a good score, in Singstar I don't have to do anything and I do OK.

if you like karaoke i suggest buying a mic for your pc, hooking your pc up to your stero, downloading a karaoke program and downloading karaoke files. you can find legal ones on usenet, and rip your own legal discs too. all the are is cdg files and mp3's

Are the mics USB or PS2 port?  Would this be backwards compatible on PS3?

the two mics plug into a USB dongle, the mics are heavier and of much better quality than the ones that come with Karaoke Revolution.

It should work with the PS3 but I can't test it.  The game and my PS2 is set up at my GF's apartment and she likes to play when she gets home from work so I don't want to bring it home and try it out.
