new 1440 x 900 and 1600 x (whatever) resolution

it has black bars on the top and bottom, which i thought was wierd it was my native resolution.  however, i did feel think it looked much better than a few months ago when it was at 1300 x 768, and the clarity of vga just can't be beat. 

has anyone else tried the new resolutions?  what did you think?

I'm using 1440x900 and I agree, it looks pretty nice.  The black bars were annoying at first but I got used to them quickly.

It looks great, but I am planning on movin' on up to to using an HDMI connection and playing in 1080p after I move next week.
