New Killers CD - Day & Age Impressions
« on: November 24, 2008, 06:08:43 PM »

All I gotta ask is this: Where did all that energy go? Day & Age is like a collection of their most mellow songs, with only a few kicking into a faster beat. Im not saying it sucks, but of all their stuff, the mellow music is not my favorite part of their catalogue. If anything this is frustrating because they've released a CD that isnt music I hate, but isnt music I love, which means each track will be forgotten and lost in the ocean of mp3s on my Zune.

It's GARBAGE. It sounds like an album filled with elevator music.

My favorite Killers songs:

Smile Like You Mean It
When You Were Young
Mr. Brightside (particularly Jacques Lu Cont's dance remix, which I love)
Read My Mind
On Top
Jenny Was a Friend of Mine
Human

Haven't heard anything off their new album besides Human, though.

If every Killers song sounded like Mr. Brightside, they'd be an awesome band, IMO.

The only song I liked at all off this album was Spaceman.
