centuries?

I really am curious about this. Let's say you a muslim.  How are you gonna pray to the east when you live in mars/moon/outer structure that has its own revolutions and orbits and the earth has its own.

Evolution vs creationism:  if you think god created animals, made man in his own image, and think creationism is a liberal sham, how are you going to explain away microorganisms in mars, or the likely life you will find in Jupiter's moon, Europa?

If you a jew, mus, or chris., then what does the "holy land" or "mecca", etc, really matter?  What does the bible or torah really matter? Why should moses and the Red Sea matter?  Because ALL those have been brought and created in the context that the whole universe = earth.  There was no orbiting sun or orbiting mars back then;  they were either the Sun God or Mars God, or you were taught that one mono-deity controlled it all, all  revolving around earth streaking across the sky.  Because as said, the universe = earth. And time = 6000years.

And you can't really modernize or reconcile religion when such dramatic civilization-shifts occur.  You can't do what the vatican tries to do, like when they put a 21st century spin on their 7 deadly sins.  How can you reconcile the Bible and Jesus, when they can make sense only in a purely Earth context?

...

and it's not like nationalism, which will simply change and not die out [see what happened when the Europeans colonized Americas; they stopped being Germans/Irish/etc, and became 'whites'] nor is it like race, since skin color and other racial features will not change unless everyone gets genetically expereimented.

Like woah dude. This totally opened my eyes. Religion is all a sham made by the man to keep us down.

muslims will pray towards earth as its position is conceptualized as a 3d point on a 2d plane.

it's really simple if you think about it.

schism probably.

there would be those who would pray to where it once existed, but then in centuries even this location would be disputed.
