I'm gonna head out to Blockbuster tonight and see if they got it in yet.  The camera is fine.  Game is gonna be a spectacular thrill ride all the way through.

Beat it twice in a week. Insanely short. Got all 1000 points.

It was good while it lasted, but I've no interest in the forthcoming DLC.

I wish the TR series would completely ditch all combat from now on. It completely sucks balls.

How short are we talking about here?  Legend was only 6 hours maybe without the bike parts (or maybe with the bike parts?).

Also are there any stupid mini-game sections like the Bikes?

It's longer than Legend. The game was shorter than I thought it would be because the last two levels are like beatable in under an hour. This is coming off two 2-3 hour levels if you were looking for everything.

There's no minigame parts per se, but there is Lara's bike-- but you actually use it to go from place to place within a level instead of it just breaking up action. Two levels use Lara's bike.

I bought it, so I was hoping to get more length out of it. Usually game length doesn't bother me either. This game was just so awesome that I didn't want it to end.

It definitely could serve to be longer. Anniversary was the right length. But it was also low budget, so that's why it existed. Underworld does not strike me as low budget despite Eidos having no money.

The DLC on the 360 ver should be great.

IS the story good? Do they wrap things up or is it open to another sequel?

Legend took me 10-11 hours to beat.  I dunno how you people blow through these games in 6 hours.

It ends rather abruptly without tying up the loose ends. I would argue that it was done on purpose because

1) they want more revenue from DLC you have to buy to get the true ending
2) they don't want you to trade it in because you're waiting for the DLC

Yeah, its the 1up Yours theory. I think this game satisfies all requirements for it.

It doesn't end abruptly. What loose ends are left? The Amanda and Avalon plotlines are completely resolved.

If you're following the story, it makes sense to end where it does-- she collects the artifacts she needs and then it's time to use them.

Finally finished it. Pretty disappointed by it. But it was still enjoyable. Never had issues with the camera but the game was buggy as hell.

I'd give it a 7.

just beat it last night. i'd give it an 8, or a "better than uncharted".

i have no idea what the plot was about -- had the sound down so my wife could sleep -- so i just skipped the cutscenes towards the end.

How long is it? I wonder if I could finish before Prince of Peria or if I should just wait until it's cheap.

I was getting owned by ONE puzzle. It wasn't even a puzzle. There were some moving chains where I had to tap the button Y to swing faster to get to the other side. I didn't knew you could swing faster with Y.

I first thought it was a bug and started the chapter again.

That room at the bottom of Xibalba (dear god prole, lol) is where I moved Thor's hammer to get a relic and had to reset it to climb out. Took me a good 2 hours to climb out of it when you consider I had to move the hammer twice.

edit: wait, that's not xibalba. I think...I don't know.

Anyway, the Yggdrasil looking tree in Thailand was sweet. Thailand was another massive level.

Was stuck for a long time there. You really can't get to the other side without pressing Y. I tried so many ways.

I really hated those those places too. Especially the time trial with the bike. URGH. Made me nervous.

And what the hell was the blue water stuff? Blue lava or what. I fell so many times in that crap.
