Surprised there wasn't a thread yet. So, what are you guys doing? I'm at my parents house; dinner is still being cooked

Just the primary family here. It's actually the first time I've had Thanksgiving without my grandparents; uncles/aunts/etc aren't here either. The grandparents were too tired to make the trip up here so they stayed in Detroit with the rest of the family. Plus my mom had a bit of a falling out with one of my aunts so yeah, no wonder they didn't come to our house lol

Just means more dressing FOR ME

i found out she was a cousin of mine who i didn't recognize.

what's worse is that the same fucking thing happened two weeks ago at my brothers wedding reception.

Ate at my best friend's house at like 2 PM then I went home and ate with the family at about 5 PM. I keep going back to the kitchen for more cake and pie. I feel like a fatty.

Tomorrow one of my female friend's from high school is supposed to come over. I'm also supposed to go drink with my best friend and his brother in laws. Later in the night I'm supposed to go to a party with another friend who came back home from college for vacation. I bet all of these plans end up falling through.

Ecrofirt and I had 3 meals today, hah. We had dinner with my parents and brother at 1. Then we had dinner with my grandparents, uncles, and aunt at 3. Then dinner again with his parents, sister, and grandmother at like 4:30. THEN we went to his aunt's house to announce our engagement to his dad's side of the family.

I think I ate more today than I ate all week. Holidays are always like this for us, lol.

Brother brought home Rock Band 2 so I played that with my aunt/uncle and cousins... then we played some Cranium. And of course ate a load of food... good times, good times.

1st time hosting Thanksgiving ever!

We had over both sets of parents, my sister, and my grandma for dinner, then two of my cousins and some of our friends showed up later. It went well. Parents talked about syphilis and "having a good time" in the Philippines that later required penicillin. Grandma said she's "too old to fool around," which is probably true because she's 93. My dad played the shittttt out of Mario Kart. Good times were had.

I wonder if the rest of my family / the guests caught on to the sheer number of drinks I was quietly consuming... It was a great Thanksgiving until around 3 AM when I inexplicably fucking fumbled the ball with this girl I've been wanting to get with for as long as I can remember.
