Yeah, I'm sure there will even be some deals between XBL gold and netflix in the future. I still have to subscribe but my problem is that I just want streaming. I'm thinking about getting the subscription and letting my parents get physical copies while I just take the streaming stuff.

I just subscribed last night and I'm liking it, but the first movie I watched (Zero Effect, so good) was pan 'n scan. $:-\$

Is it like that for most Instant Queue movies?

i used to own the zero effect dvd, it was an early pan/scan dvd release, and as far as i know they never released a widescreen version

that's probably why it's pan/scan on netflix

Is there a list of what is available in HD? The SD quality is like VCD for most stuff, so I'd rather stick to things in HD. The only thing I found was Heroes.

you can browse their HD on netflix.com- there isnt tons tho, and some of it I suspect isnt actually HD- then again im on DSL capped so the image isnt QUITE high def for me

Then again im watching crap like Hercules most of the time, which looks great over DSL

I sincerely hate the jim pam stuff. Its the Ross Rachel, the niles Daphney, its all that shit I hate about NBC sitcoms. What makes it worse is that some of the moments are fucking painful to watch.
