Review wise, i believe it did what it deserved. And i think the game sold over a mil, so that ain't bad, though i think it deserved to do like 2 mil +.

Naughty Dog pumps out great sequels though, Jak 2 is still one of my fav games of last gen. Seeing how i was hoping for the sequel to be ice themed as soon as i was over with the 1st, and guess what it is, i have a really good vibe about this one.

I just hope they work his bear, i mean, either you make him look rough or you don't, fuck this nice and tidy cut bear on the chin. Oh and work on those set pieces naughty dog, the set pieces in Uncharted 1 largely sucked, but the one on the cover already looks like it's going to be better than any in the 1st.

but seriously, Infamous is going to be the best PS3 exclusive next year.  It doesn't even have a defense force yet, so maybe that's a good thing.  Everyone will be all up on Uncharted 2 and Killzone 2 to pay attention to the best.  AND FAT PRINCESS!...and new ratchet game that will probably be so-so because Insomniac won't take time to develop their games

It wasn't shitty, the driving was awesome because it was a platform game in itself, the shooting was great, and the platforming was great. The story was cool, the visuals amazing.

Killzone 2 will be good. Talking strictly about MP, it might even be great. But yeah, Infamous is definitely flying under the radar, and for absolutely no good reason other than that gamers are by and large a bunch of shitholes. Super powers, villains, probably a fun enough story, and the fact that Sucker Punch is like awesome and stuff, you'd think that would count for something.

Then again, personally that suits me fine. The less of a defense force that builds around it, the less stupid the jealous xtards will act about it. Hell, we may even be able to talk about it like adults or something.

Killzone 2 looks hot though. Damn, it's ACTUALLY going to be a nice year for my Ps3 next year. This year was garbage, the year ended with MGS4 basically, haven't turned it on for a game since.

I'm actually waiting for Microsoft to announce all their games for 2009.  They always line them up closer than Sony, but so far there is Halo 3 ODST, Halo Wars, and Alan Wake pretty much confirmed.

Naughty Dog is a fucking awesome developer.  The Crash games were fantastic.  The Jak games were fantastic.  Uncharted was fantastic.  They are truly the only AAA 1st party developer under Sony's belt.

I have no problem with them adding things that seem bad into Uncharted.  They added lots of things people didn't want into Jak 2 and it was still the best action platformer of that entire generation.

Gears of War 2 - the biggest 360 game this year - was announced back in February and launched only 9 months later.  I'm wondering if Microsoft has something else big planned that they are saving until closer to release.
