Research Papers on shitty subjects

I hate when this happens. I have a subject that I can in no way fill five pages of. Anyone have any hints? Usually I can do these fine, but i'm just burnt right now

That's the best advice. I've never had problems writing papers. It's very easy to BS your way through one, but that doesn't mean you should do a half job. I find that going above and beyond expectations (without being too extravagant) is a sure fire way to succeed. Teacher expects 5 pages? Give him/her 7, cite twice as many sources as required, pull out the thesaurus, and examine the issue from multiple angles. And if you can, challenge the teacher's opinion

Seriously, this is what you need to do, fill the paper with utter bullshit and examples of famous sportscasters, where they are today, how much they make, what their day-to-day life is, their other job options (commercials, etc), and so forth.

Use the same outline you would have originally, but to support your topics, include examples of the several sportscasters that you picked. God, that would take up so much room!

5 pages is pretty easy. I wrote my thesis last year and the key is writing 'slow (boring) and elobarate. Take your time to explain in detail, announce stuff you're going to do at every opportunity. Guide your reader through your table of contents in full text, etc.

Have to write a paper (between 15 and 40 pages, I'll probably end up in the low 20s or something) for Multidisciplinary forensic research/investigation. I proposed to do on illegal copying of video and computer games through the internet (I already know a lot about it) and if they accept it's going to write itself (I'll start with "what's a videogame?"). Unlike my thesis last year which was pretty much a completely new scientific area I had to become familiar with.

Don't over explain everything and cram it full of filler.  Try to think of it as a textbook where you have general chapters and then you have much more detailed sections.  Not everything has to be completely about the particular topic that you're talking about and it's all right to treat the reader as though they don't necessarily know a lot about your topic.  In the end, wrap up all of the information into some easy-to-digest facts and the teacher won't know that you basically reworded shit from wikipedia.
