If ifs and buts were candy we would all have rotten teeth. The so called "cel shading here", which isn't cel shading, apparently you don't know shit about graphics, but if it was cell shaded, all of the textures would be much more simple, with very little detail, with much more focus on simple mix of basic colors.

Prince of Persia isn't rendered cell shaded, it's rendered in the same way other games are, but the textures are all hand drawn painted, very detailed, and made to look like something out of a comic book.

Comparing this to Rogue Galaxy is disgraceful, and just an overall red alert for your point of view on graphics.

That's one thing that pisses me off. The art style is the best it's been since SoT, but the actual platforming is the worst since SoT.

PoP is a PS2 game with 720 detailed textures, depth of field in cutscenes, and more geometry for bigger environments.

Go grab a shot of the main PoP guy and compare him to any of the more detailed FFXII characters. PoP is obviously better looking because the textures are 720p, but that's about it.

My main beefs with PoP on a tech level are that the characters are low poly for this current gen and the lighting is incredibly flat like a last-gen game. The artwork on the textures is excellent and I'd give the graphics a 9/10 on the review scale because of the art direction. But they could've done more with the visuals.

Really enjoying the game. Collecting the orbs so far has been a smooth affair. Combat wise, i find it sort of weird but pleasing that you can finish an enemy with one move, i pushed one into an edge, and Prince pushed him into the abyss, battle was over. It was pretty cool and cinematic.

540. Not that bad...just over half, so like 22ish per level. There was only one point where I had to stop playing and go collect orbs. It ends on a cliffhangerish/nonsensical ending.

It's a good 20 dollar game. It's a good game, but the sort you need to go into with tempered expectations. I recall it being a bit grindy, but I may have just been grinding for fun because the combat is pretty entertaining.
