Fables is awesome. OMG. Trade 11 ends a major arc, awesome time to get into the series!

I need to read this last book. Vol 11? The first Volume blows, the second one is so-so, but they get better from there. It's not a masterpiece, but it is entertaining.

I'd also say it gets alot better as it goes on... though I thought Vol. 10 wasn't so great $:-\$
I still need to read 11 (will get it for Christmas hopefully).
The series is good fun and didn't get old to me like some other long ones, but I guess there's nothing too medium-defining about it or anything.

In the interest of not judging a book by it's cover, you should probably post some of the interior pages. Not because the art is bad, per se, but it's not James Jean doing it.

Good series though.

You should ALWAYS judge a book by its cover. For example, if the author's name is larger than the title of a book on the cover, its crap

I like it, but you know what I really like? Mike Carey's Lucifer.

I'm halfway through the series now (thanks, 16GB psp!) and it's crazy good. CRAZY GOOD. I mean, it stars Satan. I can't even write a coherent sentence about this thing right now. Maybe when i calm down.
