Just when you thought the Israel-Palestine dispute was the powderkeg that was going to get everyone killed. Ha!

But srsly, I hope Obama makes it a priority to work towards a lasting solution to the India/Pakistan conflict. It's a festering sore that was put on the backburner because 1) the US needed Pakstian's cooperation after 9/11, 2) India's violation of the non-proliferation treaty makes things difficult, and 3) Bush just isn't interested in mediating conflicts.

I'm super-ignorant on the history here. Anyone recommend some links or books?
