Ac!d sounds like the best game ever.  I bought Ac!d2, but don't plan on buying a PSP until it hits $150.

Although, for me, it wouldn't make too much sense to make a "special edition" of a game with compressed audio and less cutscenes.

I'm speaking PURELY about how a game controls and how the shooting feels.  MGS4 was barely competent as a shooter, but I do think that Payton helped push the controls into "manageable" territory, which is pretty damn good for a Japanese game with shooting elements.

Shoulda stayed there, i know directing an Halo game must be like "whoa" kind of position but i think he had found himself a nice spot at Kojima productions because, well it was pretty easy to make MGS gameplay better, and i think he would gain relevance in time, and maybe even direct a MGS game of his own. Now, he went to a Halo property, and i personally don't see what he can bring to the table that will be unexpected, and if the game is a bomb then i think he's gonna fall pretty hard.

Capcom is the most Americanized of the big Japanese 3rd party developers and they are just now figuring out good shooter mechanics in their Japanese-developed games.  Lost Planet didn't really get it right, and RE5 appears to almost get it right.

As far as Associate Producer, I have no fucking clue.  They're probably doing a little bit of everything from grunt work to project management to press to achievements.  It seems less like a creative position and more like a lower-level management position.

It's too early for them to really have done anything legit.  Plus Konami didn't have the resources to fund stuff until MGS4 returns came in.

Though a new PSP game would've been nice.  Either Ac!d 3 or PO2.  Probably will be something MGS at next E3.
