You can play it without logging into LIVE, and since there's no online function anyway, it doesn't really matter. You don't get achievements, though. Take that, pirates!

Yeah it's a GFW Live title, but the actual DRM for the game is barely there, as Bethesda prefers to not really try to stop pirates.

San Andreas has a hugely popular multiplayer and mod scene, and the commoners dig GTA3 anyway-I mean, Spore and Sims 2 were #1 and #2 on that list despite barely being games.

I love the guy in the comment field about needing to reformat after Spore's DRM hosed his computer, which is essentially impossible.

i picked up SA from steam and haven't found any mods really worth speaking of.

I'd play SA or VC if there was a mod to disable lock-on targeting so it controlled like Max Payne.
