if they're boiled correctly, yes, they're a bit squishy (yet still a bit firm at the same time)

it's difficult to describe how they taste - salty, with just enough familiar peanut flavor

I like roasted peanuts better. Especially fresh ones that are still warm like you get at flea markets.
