She got physically ill and had to leave campus early because some videogame major's body odor was so bad it made her gag. She even had to stop and take breaks on the way to BART to stop from completely giving in.

How do you have body odor that bad?

There was this fat kid in high-school that had a locker next to me and he never showered and I wanted to vomit so bad. DAILY SHOWERS REQUIRED!

I dont get how people can leave the house without even one shower. The way I feel after I wake up is disgusting.

It reeked of what I can only describe as sweat and body residue compiled over a span of days (or even weeks!) The computer lab was a sauna and I spent the past hour trying to hatch THE SAME set of columns in AutoCAD as the program kept crashing on me. Things were not good.

But I endured.

For the next hour and a half, I stayed there. In my seat. Working on my Traditional Residential Design Rococo rendering. On the columns. With the heat and stench. And an empty stomach with some mixed raisins and a packet of Handi-Snacks.

I decided to leave when my vision was blurring, my hands were shaking and I was about two minutes from puking all over the nice new Macs and HP PCs in the room. I had to sit on the floor of the elevator - it was that bad. The ice cold air was a welcome relief heading to BART (which I was really dreading because the trains smell like urine-marinated bums most of the time). I was lucky, the car I got into was ok.

They probably smell it all the time and get desensitized to it.

When i worked in the cafe at Books A Million, once a month we'd have a guy come in and clean the grease trap. When he opened the trap, the entire store would fill with this scent that smelled like the elephant cage at the zoo, but ten times worse. At first, it was pretty rough, but then you get used to it. i'm guessing the people who work at the zoo cleaning cages feel the same way. i'm also guessing the guys who play World of Warcraft and spill burger juice all over their shirt all night and then do a barrel roll from their chair to their bed and like don't shower for three weeks feel the same way as well.

I knew a guy that had some disease where is fucking PORES were ROTTED, so when he sweat it smelled like cat piss & vomit.

Computer labs are known for this. There's nothing worse than when you walk into the computer lab, sit down, and then suddenly notice the guy next to you smell likes a mixture of sweat, armpit, and fecal matter. Or worse, when you sit into a chair and IT smells like sweat, armpit, and fecal matter.

I mean how lazy do you have to be to not shower in the morning, it takes like 10 minutes. Even half assed soap rubbing a few places and a smattering of shampoo on the head does wonders. I think that's the real reason I hated gym in school, people who didnt shower taking off the clothes that trapped the smell in and UNLEASHING THEIR WRATH UPON ME

Mentally I can't just get up and go into public without taking a shower. I don't have any idea how someone could do that. After working hard outside on a hot day, or playing basketball, I know I don't smell great. I can smell it, and taste it. There's no way these people don't know they smell like shit, which leads me to believe they simply don't care. Which is even more disturbing.

I try to take a shower before I sleep and after I wake up, although sometimes i'll run, grab something to eat, then shower.

But yeah showers before I actually interact with someone is a must.

I feel...dirty when I wake up. Now, I brush my teeth before I go to bed, but when I wake up I still feel like I'm all crusty and smelly. Why would someone wake up like this and just walk out the door? My dad told me he sees some young patients who don't brush their teeth everyday, many of which are young women (!!!). WTF.

I take two, 3 showers a day. I like to be clean. One in the morning, one when i get home from work/whatever, and one before bed time.
