I was just coming to terms with the idea that we'd never, ever get a real PS game again. That we'd just be stuck with shitty games based off of PSO, the worst thing to happen to a gaming series of all time ever.

And then I see this. They're finally found out how to desecrate the series further- stick a number in front of another shitty sonic team PSO clone.

Well this is it. Sega must be killed, and killed with fire.

Up until the travesty known as PSO, Sega made the best rpgs in the biz- Phantasy Star series, Shining Force series, Skies. Then when they got distinguished mentally-challenged with the DC they decided to turn PS into a shitty Diablo clone and let Sonic Team develop it. No wonder they've been on life support for years.

yeah, but this isn't anything new, PSU was just horrible. If you hated on PSO (which I did enjoy) then PSU is...I don't know, I can't express how much worse it is in relation to PSO, but it would be like if Nickelback was a sandwich and Guy Fieri was paid to shove it up your ass

btw, if you do ever get a PS3 (or if they decide to put it on the 360) check out Valkyria. It's good and shows that some people at Sega still know how to make games.

man the last real PS was so awesome. i didn't play the game back in the nineties when i owned a genesis so i bought another genesis a few years ago with PSIV and omg it was great.

anyways everything after PSIV is a travesty.

I got it working on my card. It's PSO... or PSU, one o the two. But you can write messages and send them to the screen. My character (offline) was running around screaming F*GGOT and i was laughing

I will see if I can do this online as well... if I can figure out how to get there

You have to time the presses, and I only heard the one level's music. The game locked up on me when I was at the boss, and all my progress was gone (though I imagine I cant save mid-dungeon anyway).

There is no "fixed" version - it probably got the antipiracy cheat embedded into it via DSATM. Guess what - that's what I did already, still froze. It's finicky, need an update from your respective flashcart devs.

Wow. This game is awesome. Feels like I'm playing PSO on my Dreamcast except with shitty 3D. Do want.

It's really good DS 3D for what it's worth. Can't wait to play this in English. The DS sure could use an analogue nub for these types of games, though.
