Apparently Famitsu score Dissidia 36/40 and said it takes 40 hours to complete the story mode. Awesome.

Last fall and this spring were awesome for the PSP, but there is next to nothing this year and the only major first party game I can think of is Resistance.

Agito could be big.  It's looking like my PSP library will only ever consist of four games or so, though.

there's the prinny game on february.

http://www.gamefaqs.com/portable/psp/releases.html

you can filter by region if you want though it only shows the games for the next quarter. on japan there's a lot more upcoming games but it's mostly shovelware.

I've bought a ton of new Japanese PSP games in the last six months (Gundam Battle Universe, Gundam vs. Gundam, Super Robot Wars A Portable, Power Pro 2008, Ikkitousen, Macross Ace Frontier, Kenka Banchou 3), but only one North American title (Star Ocean)....

I'm still playing/have yet to start stuff from the last couple of months.

Don't forget about Musou Orochi 2 (Warriors Orochi 2) which is out in Japan, and Dynasty Warriors Strike Force and Tenchu 4 which are hitting the PSP in Japan in February.  Phantasy Star Portable is hitting the States in March.

I tried the Prinny game out but didn't really like what I played.  Seemed slow and BOOOOORING.  Incredibly basic level design, yuck.

Midnight Club LA Remix is an awesome PSP game.  I DL'd it but will be picking it up at some point.  I need to get the console version, speaking of which.

I've owned a couple different PSPs (as I switch back and forth between it and the DS...) and the outlook always seems bleak.  I wish I knew Japanese.  The only games of interest are Agito and Dissidia.

I can only think of the following worthwhile games coming to North America: Star Ocean 2, FFXIII Agito, Phantasy Star Portable, Dissidia, Prinny, Parasite Eve and Resistance.

We don't really know anything about 3rd Birthday though.  It might be good, but there's no particular reason to think it will or won't be.  But I was never a PE fan.

so my PSP list consists of

Metal Gear Ac!d 2 (already own)
Disgaea (already own)
Wild Arms XF (if I can find it)
Agito (probably, depending on info and impressions)
mayyyyybe Dissidia and/or 3rd Birthday, depending on impressions.  Probably not Crisis Core though.
maybe the other Metal Gears

any other recommendations?

I don't know what your tastes are, but judging by the number of stratRPGs that you have I bet you would enjoy Jeanne Darc. It's probably my favorite game on the system.

Some other games that are worth a play:
Ratchet
Daxter
Crisis Core
Brave Story
Killzone

I am also currently playing through Gurumin and it is pretty good so far.

It's not so much that I'm a big SRPG fan, more that those particular games look interesting.
