how the fuck do I fix this piece of shit? I used my location bar to actually get to websites, now it brings up shit based on what letters match the page? are you kidding me?

rant over. anyway, I googled and found a work around, but if anyone knows how to get back to the old location bar that'd be nice.

Just do searches on your history and delete nsfw stuff periodically. or download ff3.1 beta 2 and use private browsing mode

awesome bar evolves the more you use it.
after a few days of coming here it'll start directing you here when you start typing the sites name in.

porn coming up is kind of annoying, but I basically do all my browsing through the location bar by entering the first letters of a site I want to go to. it doesn't seem to do that anymore.

You will get used to awesome bar. It's pretty awesome, but it threw me off for a few days at first. You just aren't used to awesome yet.

see, the internet came up with 1000s of ways of blocking porn from the results, but I just want to go back to the old algorithm. i'll just have to train the awesome bar.

ctrl + H then type in "porn"

delete all the history items you want out of the awesome bar.
