Is there a PS2 emulator?

I'd like to play Persona4, but my PS2 will look like balls on my tv. Also, I'm not sure it even works.

You should try it on your TV, whatever it is.  I find some PS2 games look fine on my big TV (this is especially true for games that are sort of "flat" shaded and cartoony. . .like Persona), and some look absolutely terrible (especially games that try to do detailed textures, like Valkyrie Profile 2, which is a shimmery mess).

For the most part, there's only been a few games that came out bad enough that I did not want to play.

It's playable on PCSX2 if you have a good PC.  as in, core2duo at 3.0ghz or higher, 8800 series or higher, 2gb+ ram.

but I'm not sure if it's worth it vs. a PS2.  you're still going to get glitches, run into little problems that require trips to ngemu to troubleshoot, and even after ironing that stuff out, it won't run perfectly.  It all depends on how much abuse you're willing to put up with.  It will look nice though.

PCSX2 works pretty good on my PC for those games that do work

I could give my component cables, GilloD.  They help a bit with HD sets.  That's if it works.
