From what I know, she tapes her segments remotely and then sends her edited bit to them where they mish mash it into an episode of GameLife.  I don't she met any of them until E3.

Willco pretty much got it.  I saw episode 1 and loved it, so I contacted Andrew via Myspace and asked if I could contribute (anyone is free to submit reviews to be included in episodes). My boyfriend is into filmmaking so it's easy for me to participate without it taking up too much time. I joined in for episode 2 and have been a regular part of the show ever since. It's extremely amateur and it gets a lot of press, so it makes for a fairly unique hobby.

I met and hung out with the guys when we all got together for E3, and we talk online a few times every week. But I'm in L.A. and they're in Boston...so it's rare.  I might head to the east coast in a couple months and I'll make a pitstop to spend a day with them if I do.

Why does that one guy seem like he has down syndrome, and the other a creepy serial killer type? Please tell me this is just an elaborate act... :(

Yeah I wonder that from the pictures, but I think the guys just have those faces for real.

I actually convinced Melissa to do gamelife.  She wasn't too keen on the idea until I proposed marriage to her.

Did Andrew hit on you at E3 behind the scenes?

The Boston Phoenix did a lengthy article on the show a few months ago - it's a good read:

Phoenix is a great paper, tell them I want in an episode, I'll review something or streak or whatever.

Just make a review and submit it...the show is open to anyone. It's fun!
