Lil' Flip > all
Actually, the No Limit heydey era album covers are pretty much the worst ever.
True story.
I used to work at a hotel near the interstate, and all the early 00's I-10 connection rappers used to stay with us. We were also located nearish a hip hop club. I got to meet Mystikal, Big Moe, Eightball, C-Murder...pretty much all of them.
Anyway, one night, this guy came in and asked me if I could watch a sign of his for a few hours. I'm pretty easygoing, so I said sure.
He proceeds to lug in this giant sign that was on a large sheet of plywood. It was a crudely painted picture of a guy in a leprechaun costume, with a rainbow, bling, and all the effects. The guy in question was Lil' Flip. The painting was pretty much that album cover, if painted by a six-year-old. So I had this godawful sign in the lobby for about four hours before he came and got it. He gave me two tickets to his show for the trouble, but I didn't go.
It kind of faded into all the crazy shit I saw when I worked there, I remember being shocked a few years ago to hear his song on the radio ('flip flip'). Good on him.
I actually had no idea 'The Leprechaun' was ever made commercially until that last "urban art" thread.
