I'm in the money again. Fantasy football... uh... age?

For the 2nd year in a row, I've gotten to the championship game of my brothers money league. I won it all last year to the tune of $280.

It's not a keeper league. My first overall pick was Tom Brady, my last pick was Matt Forte.

I'm afraid I'll be kicked out if I win it all again.

How did thee fare in your leagues, non cigarillo EB?

Barring Brian Westbrook scoring 40 something points in the last 10 minutes of this game, I'll be going to our league's championship game next week.  League fee is $75, I've won $40 for finishing the regular season in 3rd place, $50 for winning a first round playoff game, and if I win the championship game will get another $200.  So $290, potentially. 

Our league is a bizarre league- only 8 teams, keeper league, ppr (point per reception), we start 2 QBs and individual defensive players.  You can keep up to 10 players.  Since we start 2 QBs and it's a keeper league, there's a HUGE premium on QBs.  I had Tom Brady, Brett Favre, Jay Cutler and Brodie Croyle as my QBs after the draft.  Obviously after Brady went down my Brady/Moss/Welker sick trio that powered my team last year was no longer going to be effective.  My team was in the crapper for most of the season until Tyler Thigpen came in and started fucking things up, which was awesome since I had Tony Gonzalez.  I also traded Marshawn Lynch and spare parts to some idiot for Calvin fucking Johnson.  Woo hoo!

I don't even care if I win it all or not. If I do it's icing on the cake.

I'm just happy to not have to pay the $50 league fee.

The success I find is consistency. I see guys in my league dropping and adding 3-4 guys every week. IMO, you can't win like that.

Our league is the exact opposite- our teams are so deep that you have to make moves to continually tweak your teams to stay on top of things.  Injuries lead to opportunity, especially since our weekly free agent pickups are limited and structured- after Monday, the two bottom teams get one pick on Tuesday, then the next two on Weds, next two on Thurs, and everybody gets to pick on Friday.  Maximum of three free agent pick ups per week.  SERIOUS BUSINESS.
