[FCNYC] OFFER: 2 boxes of Ayn Rand's The Fountainhead and Anthem (10467)

These are all brand new never taken out of the boxes about 40 copies of
each give or take a few. I guess they'd be perfect for a teacher or
community center.

someone in the bronx is giving away 80 Ayn Rand books.

I am seeking parts for old windup phonographs. Any and all parts would
be accepted, no matter how small or insignificant they seem. I restore
antique phonos and am always on the lookout for spare parts that folks

[FCNYC] WANTED: Dog Food

Hill's Prescription WD Canine Dry (or wet). I live in Washington
Heights and work near the United Nations. Money is tight right now but
I want to try keep my dog as healthy as she can be at 13yrs. FYI in
the past I have given lots of dog food away to others who needed.

1 igo phone charger (from radio shack)with 2 tips # 53
1 nextel phone charger
2 laptops- 1 ibm xp pro with wifi card, 1 compac win 98
2 winter coats size 12 months for our twin girls
2 jean outfits
$240 that was in the glove box- our christmas fund.

until we get another car my pick up times are limited to between 3 and 9 pm.

That's horrible. What freecycle group is this? I may be able to gather some of this stuff up and have it shipped to him. It must be fucking terrible to be without money for Christmas, when it's only one week away.

Hopefully the police can catch whoever stole their van. Nothing pisses me off more then a bunch of real life Grinches.

I don't know which group, it could be anywhere.

Somehow I don't think they actually had a van stolen with that much stuff in it. And if they did, they deserve it for leaving so much valuable shit in it!


Freecycle is about keeping stuff out of landfills. It isn't supposed to be confused with Craigslist. It's not the place to ask for new laptops, everything on your Christmas list, or to gather information about stuff. But people forget/ignore that a lot, so we get gems like the one I just posted. And then we can laugh at them. There are also posts all the time asking for Wii Fit because "my doctor said I need to get in shape."

Another gem!

Does anyone have any beige carpet and a pad to go underneath it? Am looking for 1000 sq yards
in excelent condition. Am alergic to animals and cigarette smoke. Also most perfumes so I prefer that you didn't have any animals, smoke or use any perfumy type cleaners/powders on it.
