Regarding the other thread, sorry but i had to say something:

So, i guess unfortunately i do have to explain this to some of the more distinguished mentally-challenged posters, which is funny, because that line of though largely makes you an hypocrite.

This is nothing but an exercise in creative writing. It's a good exercise because, it's not just some stupid story, or some stupid joke, it's an exercise that requires you to write (think) secondary threads that are behind the main one. Requires you to justify, comprehend and play within rules.

Now this doesn't mean that you have to write (imagine) something very realistic and without humor, thinking that is stupid. You can write what you want as long as. It's writing, so what's the problem when a scriptwriter, a book writer, let's just call them, story writers, write a murder? Do they get a big fat distinguished mentally-challenged "uhhhhhh" from the publishers?

And if you are still wondering about the "hypocrite" bit, dude wake up. You play your violent videogames, with gore, explicit violence, your "killing simulators", some of them you even plan and execute, like fan favorite Hitman, and you cut heads and limbs, and slit throats in your stealth games, and you have the nerve to come in here and act "offended" by a creative writing (imagining) of an imaginary murder situation?

Makes me think of that Dave Chappelle joke in that stand up, where he talks about how white america is secretive and sensitive about the voting question, and you have this dude telling the story about how he fucked his wife to his friend, and his friend asks about who is he gonna vote for, and he reacts like "dude, cmon, what's up with these personal questions, i'm here trying to tell you about fucking my wife...".

Well, i thought it would be boring to detail it all. This is EB, i've come to expect a certain degree of intelligence, there's trolling, and smacking a plenty to go around, but at the end of the day, i see posters (maybe mistakenly so), not being needed to have stuff mouth fed to them, and being able to think outside of the box.

"Let's plan a murder" and your OP didn't sound like "Let's write a script involving a murder case". You asked us to imagine a way of killing someone we might know.

That's what's disturbing, and is far from creative thinking.

Ugh, the "you know or not" bit, is supposed to let you make a connection. Things are always a bit more interesting when you can attach reality to a certain imagining of a situation.

What i wrote, was a very simple scenario, i'm not asking you to write a final story, let your mind roam. Write in 1st person, 3rd person, narrate events, whatever, i'm not telling you how to write, i was just asking you to write.

You could've wrote something about killing a dude's wife with jelly beans, as long as it made sense. I'm not asking you to write a professional script, but to write something.

And to Mojo, with that distinguished mentally-challenged Holocaust bit, dude you have no right to play games where you kill people. If you do, you're an hypocrite, and that only makes you look severely dumb.

I can understand people not liking it, and i've made shitty threads, and they got locked, and that was it.

The reasons people were insinuating with this one though, just didn't sit well with me. And since the thread was locked, i wasn't able to explain, to those who unfortunately needed explaining.

And it's pretty easy to throw the "grow the fuck up" thing at someone that hadn't been able to respond. If you notice, i didn't lock this thread, and let it somehow be my say and fuck the others, no fuck it, you got something to say i won't stop you, that's what a grown ass man does, he doesn't take you the right to respond.
