OMG the new guitar is so much better than the Rock Band 1 instruments. So are the drums, but I suck at them.

I didn't buy it today, but the 8-port Linksys router I ordered from Newegg came in today.  Now, all I need is a box of CAT5 and the drive to get in my attic, and I can network the shit out of my game room!  Six of those ports are going straight to me, the other two I let the family have.

I also snagged the full LP to Skeletal Lamping last night

Magic was  a very short lived thing for me, but it wound up getting me hooked up with the wargaming club I played with for five years and got me a ace duplicate bridge partner for just as long. So I don't have any bad memories of it.

I also sold like a set of old 3rd edition dual lands for some gross amount when I got out, which was also cool.

I sold my first collection for $200 a couple years ago. I got back in it a little last year. I think I still have 11 decks to play with when/if I play again.

I'm covered as far as expected expenses are for the month, so I did a bit of splurging.



I have a large portion of the content in this box already, but some of it has been remastered, and there's a large amount of other content in the box that I do not own.  Plus I was able to snag it on sale.  I feel half guilty on this purchase, but he's one of my favorite directors.

The biggest excitement in their lives is a wargame shop called The Gladiator, which runs tournaments, and stocks marvelous complex games you can't find anywhere else.
 
Then, abruptly, the shop is shut down. Someone's figured out that The Gladiator's games are teaching counterrevolutionary capitalist principles. The Security Police are searching high and low for the shop's proprietors, who've not only vanished into thin air, but have left behind sets of fingerprints that aren't in the records of any government on earth.
 

It's like my real life!! Except in the book they just admit the socialists won instead of hiding it.
