Getting pissed at the past I, and leaving the work for Future I
« on: December 16, 2008, 10:01:11 PM »
Does anyone go through this?

Realizing how much your past I sucks for leaving all the work and pressure to be pilled on Future I, which becomes present I, and it sucks, because you can't always delegate stuff for Future I.

How do you solve this? Any lazy sons of bitches out here on the Bore besides me?

Sucks :( Having to pull all nighters for paper works because of it. Fuck past I, fuck that douche.

Is it wrong? English isn't my first language.  :-\

Still make tons of basic mistakes.

You were. I mean, what do you care, anyway? Future You might like having to pull all nighters. You don't know.

Assuming makes an ass of you and me.

So what is this thread about? You get lazy and put more work on yourself? Everyone does that. I am doing it right now.

I'm just asking if you have any tips to end the lazy line of thought. It's too much of an habit to me, so i was wondering if some of the people here had reached a point where they forced themselves to stop being lazy.

Those are a lot of words to say "hey, I'm a procrastinator." Future you might not be so overworked if present you learned how to be concise. Wastes less time.

Seriously. Hell, it's practically a folk tradition around here.

Er, yeah? A good indication of having reached that point is when you find yourself swamped in piled up work. Typically, every Friday for me.
