With information coming out this month in both event and publications, I felt this thread was necessary. Any and all information on the FNC series will go in here. I'll keep the OP updated as much as possible. This is obviously a work in progress. I'll be writing up summaries on what we know about the story so far rather than copy and paste from wiki.
I can't find good screenshots without watermarks for the life of me, so if anyone could direct me to them, I'll revise the current set.

Here's some frequently asked questions that keep showing up in the thread, so I'll answer them here to avoid repetition.
Q:When will Final Fantasy XIII release?
A:Demo in March 2009 for Japan. Likely to release by holiday 2009 in Japan. That leaves NA/EU release to sometime in 2010.
Q:Is the North American version delayed due to the XB360 port?A: The North American version will not be out until after the Japanese version. During localization, they will start the porting process and the NA PS3 version will not be released until that is finished.
Q:What are the differences between the PS3/XB360 versions of Final Fantasy XIII?A: Square has stated that they are building the game for PS3 first, tailored to the PS3's hardware, and finishing the game for PS3 first. Once the PS3 version has shipped in Japan, then they will begin the porting process to the XB360. The only known difference is that there will obviously be 1 blu-ray disc for the PS3 version and multiple DVDs for the XB360 version. No other details are known at this time because work on the port has yet to begin.
