Weather is shit and Im getting over a sinus infection, time to drink pop and game my ass off. So what are you dudes playing?

Im fairly broke from buying xmas groceries so no new games for me

So I'll just be dicking with what Ive got lying around.

Im trying to avoid Sants Row 2 as some crazy Australian chick friend requested me now wont stop messaging me and sending me game invites. It would be an awesome 'success' story to get pussy on Xbox Live but she dont live in the same country so cant be fucked

Might play some more Portal (Orange Box version), almost done with it I think. How tough are the advanced/challenge levels?

Played some Toejam & Earl last night with Polari on Virtual Console. Honestly, what were Sega thinking? One of the most fucked up/typically 90's games Ive ever played. We'll probably give it another crack next time we have some good weed

Sins of a Solar Empire Entrenchment Beta - good stuff so far, starbases could use a bit more bam but Sins is always good
Battles in Normandy - wargaming kick, one day I'll get Battles in Italy so I can run the usermade scenarios but this is just a great game
Age of Empires 3: Asian Dynasties - Getting an Age of Empires kick back on. It's been almost three years and still no one, either now or on the horizon, is doing anything in the RTS scene remotely as ambitious with persistence like Ensemble did with AoE3.
Audiosurf - I always thought that this game was just hype from indie loving wankers, turns out it's the real deal. Very fun game.

I picked up DQVIII for 10 bucks at Gamestop. I have a feeling I'm going to hate it.

For some reason I got the Advanced Wars bug... I have been going through a lot of the War Room maps and trying to get S ranks. How can I suck at a game so simple?

Castlevania: OoE- While it takes several steps back in terms of depth it does (finally) take several steps forward in level design. For once I'm interested in seeing what the next set of "rooms" bring. Hopefully they can combine the aspects of the Sorrow series with the layout of this game for the next one.

Dragon Quest IV- Just made it to the fourth chapter. It's a little easier than I had hoped for and I'm not using any of the seeds.

Super Stardust Portable- Game is awesome just like its big brother.

Super Street Fighter 2 Turbo HD Remix- I'll keep playing this until there's noone left to play with.

Ughhh, playing through Gears on the PC right now. They really fucked up the friendly AI. I remember on the original 360 version that your squad would at least shoot at the enemy, but on the PC version there will be locust standing right in front of them and they will just stand there. The enemy AI on the other hand is improved. I am all for great enemy AI, but why bother giving me a squad when they become more of a liability than an asset?

I got the Rock Band 2 set from Toys R Us, so now some Rock Band 2 with the new instruments. So far the new wireless Guitar is 100 times better than the Rock Band 1 guitar. I don't know if I like it more than the Guitar Hero 2 PS2 one (before this it was the last guitar I thought was actually good), but being wireless does help it a lot. Hopefully the last plastic guitar I would ever need. Haven't tried the drums yet.
