I have a part time job at a law firm lined up, thankfully. Just have to keep myself busy for 8 months (which means I'll be posting weekly nudes of myself in the pic thread

Congrats. I just graduated as well last week.

I'm assuming you're going to law school then?

I have a job lined up but I'm thinking of going back for a second degree (Business Administration), then MBA, and then law school (I'd be in my 30s) and maybe end up as a patent lawyer or something.

^^ Don't do it. Take the job, get some experience (and $$$), and then decide a year or two down the road if you want to go back. I did the straight to grad school thing and it did not pay off. Experience is more valuable, plus some perspective if you do decide to get your MBA would enhance your experience.

nice, sounds like a good plan. yeah, I'm going to law school. I'll practice for 10 or 15 years and if my plan goes right, I'll go back to get a graduate degree/phD in something. Starting a family will probably throw a wrench in that

This is good advice. If you're lucky enough you employer might even pay for it or make things easier by offering part time work etc while you study.

I've got a BS in Psych, you need to get a Masters or Doctorate if you want a good job with a BS in Psych.

I'm curious because a few of my friends are graduating without job prospects and some are handling it well and some are handling it poorly.

Right now my only plan is to make money, because I currently can't afford all my bills. Grad school isn't anywhere in the near future. I'll only do it if I can find an employer to pay for it, and then I don't even know if I'd go for psychology. I love it, but secondary education is so much more practical, especially around here.

I was getting full time hours until September, where the hospital I worked at laid off like 40 people in my department and only kept 12 of the actual full-timers. What can ya do.
