Oh wait -- I get it now. It's a viral campaign that is going to tie in to Iwata's keynote at GDC. I fully expect "Bob" to show up on stage on "Day 100" in his rockin goth boots.

From the GDC page: "Satoru Iwata will talk about Nintendo’s role in creating better tools and bringing opportunities for developers to introduce their innovative ideas to a marketplace that is increasingly willing and eager to embrace new game design possibilities."

The thing is though, Bob wrote a letter to Destructoid saying "It was all just a viral campaign, an amazing one! And I fooled you all!", so now it's looking more like Bob is just an idiot, rather than a looney tune

Regarding GDC, I have a bad feeling about this. Wonder if he's going to attempt to crash the press conference

I was at a indie game marketing session with Phil Fish and the World of Goo guy. Fish was saying that when marketing your game, a good rule is "Don't be a dick" then started talking about Bob and was like "WHERE IS BOB, IS BOB HERE" and of course he wasn't, then he started ragging on Bob being an idiot and everyone was like LOL

kind of a neat game tbh

the adventure/rpg stuff is asspie disgusting, almost scary stuff; the actual "game" part is basically Retro Game Challenge. The writing is so very awful and the obsession with Yuu and Nintendo makes you want to call the police on the guy. At one point your father in the game talks about how old games require imagination and does it by saying "yuu" as you, and incorrectly at that.
