i missed out with the Gamecube. i might get a Wii, ask for it for the holiday season.

is it really that hard to find component cables? and they are like $60ish?

I kinda want one because when I think about it, I really don't want either of the other next-gen consoles, almost exclusively because of the price. It's almost like voting for the lesser of two evils with the presidential races lately. I really don't love any of them.

Yea, I really don't see the Wii as much of a bargain either, but it's still $150 cheaper than anything else. $:-\$

i guess, i had my 360 since launch. i had my hd tv even before that. i wish nintendo would make some hd games.

You're gonna have to wait another 5 years for that. Just be happy with the 360, and PS3 for High Def games this gen.

On the original topic. The Wii it totally worth owning. Just be careful about buying some of those shitty launch titles. That pretty much applies to most of them. Be picky!

The beautiful thing about the Wii is that it's got a lot going for it. $250 price tag with a fun pack in game. One killer app, and a handful of nice launch titles, and virtual console games on a regular basis. Uniqe gameplay experience that you can only get on this system. It's fun stuff folks.

PD, Shut the fuck up. Zelda is GOTY for the Wii, and I really can't imagine that it will be at the same quality on GC.

The fact that eventually we will get F-Zero for the Wii online and Super Smash Brothers for the Wii Online is fucking worth getting one by itself. Hell, one third of my time on the Wii has been used replaying F-Zero GX.

Cant fucking wait. I too will be replaying F-Zero GX when I need a break from playing TP.

I also preordered the Wii Play + Wiimote bundle.

Wow, that is a bummer. I'm quite sure Excite Truck is better than Wii Play, so I guess I won't complain anymore.

We actually are supposed to get Wii Play on January 15th. We'll see if that actually happens though.

Quite honestly, Excite Truck is a very good arcade racer IMO. At first I really thought it wasn't that great, but the more I played it, I feel in love. I'm not kidding, it's really good. If you allow yourself to fully understand the controls, you'll get hooked. It plays wonderfully, and the graphics are kinda cool when everything gets moving right.

Woohoo got me a motherfucken Wii.

Only managed to get in a couple of rounds of Wii Sports Tennis last night as it was 1am and I was mega bushed. Wii is awesome. Will post my Wii play impressions and friend code tonight

I think I might pick one up. My grandparents just gave me $300 for Christmas, I need a Wii for SSBB anyway, I played more Excite Truck and started to enjoy it, and one of my good friends says Wii Zelda is fucking awesome.
