edit: I just think the game has some of the best gaming music I've heard in a long time, and that's probably why I've grown so fond of the games. I know they are soooooo the culmination of Amerifagery and Japafagery, but the music really is quite touching.

I liked it, but it was too easy to fuck up, ammo was kinda limited. I remember that being a pain in the ass, and iirc, you could play yourself into corners because of it. I think same deal with healing items?

Hmmm, I don't remember that (I think it's actually a pretty easy game), but the first energy skill you get is heal so I don't really remember using healing items all that much. I remember there being a guy in the police station who would take garbage and upgrade weapons and maybe (?) sell ammo. I don't really remember.

I really loved that battle system. Morphed into Vagrant Story and Fallout 3 sort of.

PE didn't come out xmas 97 did it? I remember the OPM video trailer in the first OPM I bought iirc, or something like. It was August 98, and it had a MGS trailer in it along with a Spyro the Dragon demo.

I happened to walk into an EB the day KHII launched. The fans were waiting for the game, the store was saturated with the smell of B.O., all the fans had slicked back long hair, leather jackets, various incarnations of facial hair. I was ready to point Chris Hansen to the mother load.

I kinda like it. If the camera weren't complete ass in both games I'd probably like them as much as I could feasibly like going on a fucking adventure with Donald and Goofy.

I just enjoyed it. When I went to pick up KHII on release day, a little kid was trying to pick it up as well and this fat older nerdwench stood there and was like HAWHAWHAWHAW GETTIN' YER KINGDOM HEARTS EH?!?!?!? LOOK AT IT, IT'S BEAUTIFUL. RUN ALONG, RUN ALONG AND LOOOOOVE IT HAW HAW HAW

I dunno, it is so button mashy. Normally I'll stick through a bad game if the story is engaging but the story fuckd itself twelve times over in Chain of Memories so now I can't understand it. The bad guy's named Xehanort who is the nobody of Xenabody and Roxas is fucking Sora and Riku is a girl's name.

I hate Kingdom Hearts, didn't mind PE1 but I think it was a bit overrated, now Live A Live is Shimomura's best!
